THIS 1D VES CURVE IS A KQ TYPE CURVE. BELOW 6.I METER BELOW GROUND LEVEL [MBGL] THE QUALITY OF WATER WILL BE SALINE. HERE THE TRUE RESISTIVITY OF 4TH LAYER IS 0.0328 ΩM CRYSTAL CLEARLY INDICATING THE SALINE NATURE OF THE AQUIFER.

The black /dark blue very low resistivity anomaly zones with resistivity range of 0.553 to 1.73 Ωm may be indicative of sea water intruded zones which is dominantly exhibited below 10m.The high resistivity anomaly zones with resistivity range of 168 to 1656 Ωm

reflects top dry sands. Below 4m the

intermediate resistivity zones with resistivity range of 17.1 to 53.6 Ωm indicate saturated fresh water aquifers. The low resistivity zones with resistivity of 5.44 Ωm may be indicative of transition zones with brackish water aquifers.
