AIM The ICLEI series will return to Europe this 30-31 January with an event that will feature keynotes and research presentations on a wide range of topics in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The 13th ICLEI 2019 will be held at The Cumberland, a stylish 4-star hotel located where Oxford Street meets Park Lane in London's West End. Reviewed full papers will be published in ICSAI's IJLLCE journal - ISSN 2462-1846 (subject to review results and editorial recommendation).

The 13th International Conference on Language, Education and Innovation (ICLEI) 2019 is a multi-disciplinary forum discussing theories, research findings and new ideas in the fields of arts, humanities, and social sciences. After successful events in locations such as Singapore, Bangkok and Dubai, the ICLEI series returns to Europe with an event at The Cumberland, an iconic hotel near Hyde Park in the city of London. CALL FOR PAPERS The 13th International Conference on Language, Education, and Innovation (ICLEI) 2019 is a multi-disciplinary forum that will bring together leading scholars, researchers and practitioners from around the world to present and discuss new advancements and findings in the fields of covered by the conference themes. With the slogan “Innovation in Education: Unlocking Potentials”, the 13th ICLEI organizing committee is calling for research articles or academic papers to be presented in the event. Abstracts: Registrations and submission of papers for the 13th ICLEI must be performed online via the event’s web-based system. Click on the ‘Register Now‘ button on the right menu bar to start your registration process. Presenters are advised to take into consideration the following when preparing their abstracts: 1. Abstracts must be written in English 2. Titles must be written with proper capitalization and must not exceed 15 words. 3. The body of the abstract must contain the following information:  objective/purpose/rationale of the study  research design/methodology  overview of findings/trends (expected or preliminary results if the research is still in progress)  any conclusion/interpretations/discussions that could be drawn from the result of the study 4. To maintain impartiality and to avoid any bias, authors are encouraged to not use any honorifics or rank such as Dr and Professor when referring to themselves in the document. 5. The abstract text must be written in one continuous paragraph not longer than 300 words. The use of numbered lists, bullet points or tables is not allowed. 6. The entire body of the abstract must be copied into the field provided in the online submission system. A Microsoft Word version of the abstract must also be uploaded using the file upload tool provided. A SUBMISSION TEMPLATE has been provided for you to use as a sample. Full Papers: Full papers must be uploaded in MS Word format via the event’s web-based system. Click HERE to access the system. Presenters are advised to download the conference’s official template to ensure that their papers meet the event’s formatting requirements. Full papers (including all tables, figures, and appendices) must not be more than 15 pages long A fee of USD35 per page will be imposed for every additional page

beyond this limit. A separate invoice will be issued to the author if this limit has been exceeded. Presenters will be notified via email if their papers have been accepted. Acceptance notifications will normally come with suggestions and remarks from the person who had reviewed the paper. Presenters may opt to NOT publish their papers in the conference proceedings. If this is the case, please inform the conference secretariat of your intentions as early as possible to prevent any issues after the official publication of the proceedings. A SUBMISSION TEMPLATE has been provided for you to use as a sample. Presentation Formats:  Oral Presentations Each presenter shall be given 15-20 minutes for presentation. An additional 5-10 minutes will be added for Q&A which will be moderated by the session chair. For the benefit of the audience, the presentation should at least cover the following areas: 1. The objective/purpose/rationale of the study 2. Background/overview of the topic 3. Theoretical framework 4. Research design and methodology 5. Overview of findings and results 6. Conclusion/Discussion Please be prepared with enough material to fill the time allocated to you. All presentations must be done in English. Please take some time to read our PRESENTATION TIPS & GUIDELINES page before preparing for your oral presentation.  Poster Presentations The event also accepts posters as an alternative to oral presentations. A special viewing and Q&A session will be held for presenters who have chosen to present their research using posters. Authors are expected to be beside their respective posters to explain or entertain any questions asked by visitors during this session.

The recommended poster size is A0 (841mm x 1189mm). Please notify the event secretariat as early as possible if you are planning to use a different size to avoid any difficulties on the conference day. Depending on the situation, poster presenters may also be required to explain and answer questions regarding their posters in the presentation hall. Publication: Full papers presented at 13th ICLEI 2019 will be published in the conference proceedings and shall be distributed to participants during the event. The volume will come with ISBN and will also be available online on the ICSAI.org proceedings archive. Reviewed full papers will be published in the International Journal of Language, Literature, Culture, and Education (ISSN 2462-1846) by ICSAI.org. Selection of articles will be based on factors including, but not limited to, quality of research, originality, and style. Selected papers may be required to undergo further review and editing before actual publication.

This 1000 bedroom property is located opposite the historic Marble Arch and is within minutes from Hyde Park and the many shopping outlets along Oxford Street. The Cumberland is almost directly above the Marble Arch Underground Station and is also easily accessible by other modes of transportation including taxis and buses.

Each additional paper submitted by an author must be paid for separately. Only paid participants will be allowed into the venue and receive conference certificates. All of the above fees & conditions may change without notice.

Conference Kits

1. Upon signing in, paying participants will receive a Conference Kit, comprising:  Certificates* (Listener/Presenter/Chair/Featured)  Program Booklet  Proceedings CD-ROM  Souvenirs/Merchandise Items (if any) 2. Kits can only be collected at the registration desk during actual conference days. The registration desk will not be in operation during tour days. 3. Any uncollected kits will be disposed of 90 days after the end of the event. 4. Postal delivery of certificates:  An additional fee of USD35 will be charged for delivery of the kits via postal service. This is a fixed rate for all locations worldwide.  Kits will only be sent after receiving the postage fee from the participant.  To request for the postal service, please fill up the following form : https://icsai.org/postage *Co-author Rate      

Co-authors will enjoy a discounted rate after at least one other author of the same paper has made full payment at the normal rate. To get this rate, each co-author must register separately as a Presenter under their own names. Co-authors must also submit the same abstract as the main author (title and content must be exactly the same). All authors will be invoiced at the normal rate initially. *Additional Papers (for authors submitting more than one paper)    

After making full payment for one paper, the presenter will enjoy a discounted rate for subsequent papers submitted to the event. The discount will only come into effect AFTER full payment has been made for the first paper. New invoices will be issued for the remaining unpaid papers submitted by the same presenter after the secretariat receives full payment for the first paper. Refund Policy     

All refund requests must be made in writing either through email or an official letter. A fee of USD100 will be deducted from all refunds to cover administrative costs incurred. Refund requests must be made NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS before the start of the event. Withdrawals made after this deadline do not qualify for a refund. No refunds will be made if the event has been canceled due to force majeure such as natural disasters or other similarly unpredictable circumstances. The transfer of refunded amount will be performed by the Secretariat no earlier than 30 days after the last day of the conference.
