Strength & Conditioning

The NW Timberjacks Baseball Club is a select baseball program designed to provide dedicated young players in the Puget Sound Region a vehicle to help them realize their goals and enhance their opportunities to compete at the highest level. It is the goal of the club to produce not only quality baseball players, but also good citizens by instilling the principals of sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, work ethic and respect for authority. The club places a high priority on academics and emphasizes school performance as a critical ingredient in the success of the players’ development. The Timberjacks organization provides a year-round program for these young athletes who have demonstrated the skills and desire to advance to the next level. The Timberjacks program includes: • Teams at three age divisions, 14U, 16U & 18U. Younger players focus on fundamentals and understanding game strategy. Older players prepare for the next level by fine-tuning their skills and competing against the top teams in the Northwest.

Speed & Agility

• A professional coaching staff that includes ex-professional and college players who are devoted to preparing and helping these young men to reach their goals. All aspects of development are addressed including the physical and mental skills required for success.

Arm Health Programs Pitcher’s Pre-Season Conditioning

• Priority access to a complete indoor winter training and conditioning program with pitching machines, batting tunnels, pitching mounds and a complete range of strength and conditioning equipment. • A complete summer season of league and tournament games against the best competition in the Northwest. • The older players are offered college prep information and consulting.

John coaches the BBNW West Washington Senior Fall Scout Team, Arizona Fall Showcase team, and BBNW Regional team at Baseball America’s Perfect Game Tournament in Florida. NW Baseball Pitching instructor .

Terry is the assistant coach for the Timberjacks 18U Black team. Terry has coached the West Washington teams at the Pacific Northwest Championships and in the Baseball Northwest Fall Scout Program. Terry is also one of the Timberjacks lead conditioning instructors.

Head coach of the Timberjacks U18 Green team. Casey graduated from Mount Si HS in 1994 where he was a 4-yr varsity letterman in baseball, team captain and 2-yr “All League” player. Casey played 3-yrs as a pitcher at Central Washington Univ. Casey has coached at the high school level and for the BBNW Senior Fall Scout teams and Junior Olympics.

Assistant Coach 18U Green Team - Drafted as a shortstop by the Minnesota Twins out of West covina (CA) HS in 1968. Mike enjoyed an 8-yr professional career with the Twins & Indians organizations. Mike earned a spot on the Twins Major League Roster in 1970 & 1972. Mike has coached at the professional, college and high school levels.

Head coach of the Timberjacks U16 team. Mark has owned and operated his own baseball instructional facility and has many years experience coaching at the High School level. He is currently the pitching coach at Foss HS. Mark has coached BBNW teams at the USA Baseball Junior Olympics, Pacific NW Championships and Arizona Fall Showcase.

Brett is the assistant coach for the Timberjacks 16U team. Brett is also the assistant to Coach Roy Young at Foss High School.

Head coach of the Timberjacks 14U Team. Captain and ‘spark plug” of the nationally ranked 2000 NW Timberjacks. Swannie has coached five years at the select level and has coached BBNW Fall Junior Scout and Arizona Showcase teams.

John is the pitching coach for the 14U Timberjacks. Graduated from So. Kitsap HS as a 3-yr varsity letterman. He was selected to the NW USA Baseball Jr. Olympic team, Mariner Area Code team and First Team All State. John was drafted by the NY Mets and played 4yrs at the professional level.
