2013 TORONTO SNOWMOBILE, ATV & POWERSPORTS SHOW CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES No purchase necessary to enter or win. Eligibility: The Toronto Snowmobile, ATV & Powersports Show Contest (“Contest”) is open to Canadian residents only who are over the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry. THIS CONTEST IS NOT OPEN TO QUEBEC RESIDENTS. Employees, representatives and agents of John Deere Canada ULC (“Sponsor”) and its affiliates, authorized John Deere dealers, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, children, parents and siblings) and those living in the same household of such employees, representatives and agents are not eligible to enter. How to Enter: Attend the 2013 Toronto Snowmobile, ATV & Powersports Show at the Toronto International Centre, in Toronto, Ontario starting Friday, October 25, 2013 to Sunday, October 27, 2013 and fill out an electronic entry form at the John Deere booth or mail a 3½-inch by 5inch index card with your name, address, phone number and email address to: Toronto Snowmobile, ATV & Powersports Show Contest, John Deere Canada ULC, P. O. Box 1000, 295 Hunter Road, Grimsby, Ontario, L3M 4H5, Attn: Advertising Department. Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than November 1, 2013 and received by November 12, 2013. Limit one (1) entry per person. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, illegible, incomplete, falsified, destroyed, or failed entries, or failures of any kind, which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this Contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any and all lost, late, illegible, incomplete, falsified, destroyed, or failed entries will be disqualified. The Prize: One (1) Grand Prize of a John Deere Pressure Washer (Model PR-3000 GS) with an approximate retail value of $699.00 CDN will be available to be won (“Prize”). Timing and Drawing: The Contest begins on October 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time “EDT”) and ends on November 1, 2013, at 11:59 PM EDT (the “Contest Period”). A random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be held at Sponsor’s location in Grimsby, Ontario on Friday, November 15, 2013 at approximately 1:00 PM (EDT) (“Draw Date”). The chance of being selected will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Confirmation of Potential Winners: The selected entrant will be contacted by Sponsor no later than 72 hours after the Draw Date by telephone or email at the telephone number or e-mail address indicated on his/her entry. To obtain the Prize, the selected entrant must meet the eligibility requirements, comply with these Official Rules, complete the necessary Declaration and Release, including a Publicity Release at the time of claiming the Prize, and correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. In the event, the selected entrant for the Prize cannot be contacted or does not comply with or meet the above-noted requirements, the selected entrant will be disqualified and will not receive the Prize and an alternate entrant may be randomly selected in accordance with these Official Rules. 1

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of Sponsor, which is final and binding in all respects. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value. Consent and Release: By participating, entrants agree: (1) that Sponsor may (unless prohibited by law) use winner’s name, place of residence, photograph, image and/or likeness for advertising and other promotional purposes, without further review or compensation, in any media; and (2) to hold Sponsor, its affiliates, distributors, dealers, employees and agents, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and assigns harmless against any and all claims, loss, liability, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of their acceptance, possession or use of the Prize or their participation in this Contest.
