2014 Columbus International Auto Show Ugly Car Giveaway Official Rules NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. 1. All Entrants must be 18 years of age, and must be a legal resident of Ohio. Void where prohibited by law. 2. Contest Sponsored by Columbus Automobile Dealers Association and Central Ohio Honda Dealers (“Sponsor”). Employees of the Columbus Automobile Dealers Association, its members, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Employees of Central Ohio Honda Dealers, its members, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Employees of the Columbus Convention Center and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. 3. You may enter the Contest during the “Entry Period” beginning at 10:00 AM on February 13th, 2014 and ending at 12:00 PM on February 24th, 2014, by taking a photo of your automobile and uploading it to the Contest Page accessible via the Columbus International Auto Show’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ColumbusInternationalAutoShow. Entrant must follow directions for uploading photo on Contest Page. Entrant must “Like” Columbus International Auto Show’s Facebook page to participate. Entrant must be able to provide proof of ownership of vehicle entered. Examples of proof of ownership include copy of title or registration. Voting will be open to the general public via the contest page and voters will select the car that they believe to be the ugliest car and, thus, the person most deserving of a new car. 4. Alternate Method of Entry- Entrant may submit a photo of their vehicle and their contact information, including phone number, address, and e-mail address, via the United States Postal Service to The Columbus Automobile Dealers Association, 655 Metro Place South, Suite 270, Dublin, OH 43017. The photo will then be scanned and uploaded to the Contest Page to participate. All entries must be received by 12:00 PM on February 24th, 2014. 5. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the social media account is registered. For purposes of these official rules, all times are Eastern Standard Time and Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Giveaway. 6. Airtime, message, and data rates may apply for app download and use. Available on select smartphones. Coverage not available everywhere. Contact your carrier for rates applicable to your plan. Wireless service providers may charge entrants for data used in connection with the Contest based on the applicable wireless service pricing plan. Entrants should consult their wireless service provider’s pricing plan for details. Proof of posting is not considered proof of delivery or receipt of entry to play. Decisions of the contest judges are final. Such decisions may include, but are not limited to, whether an entry adheres to the entry criteria, the time of entry receipt, and the eligibility of the entrant. By participating, entrants agree that Sponsor may contact them via the social media platform from which the entry was initiated or via the contact information submitted with entry. 7. Entries must be received and recorded by the Sponsor’s computer before the end of the Entry Period at 12:00 PM on February 24th, 2014. Any entry received or made after the official Entry Period will not be valid and will not be deemed eligible. The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest. The Sponsor is not responsible for service outages, message failures, transmission delays or any other factor affecting the availability or performance of the data services. 8. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of fraud, electronic or non-electronic tampering or unauthorized intervention with any portion of this Contest, or if fraud or technical difficulties of any sort (e.g., computer viruses, bugs) compromise the integrity of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entry or votes and/or terminate the Contest and award the Prize in its sole discretion. The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter or vote repeatedly is prohibited. 9. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost entries, technical failures, or unauthorized human intervention. All entries submitted become the property of the Columbus Automobile Dealers Association and cannot be returned. 10. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR USER CONTENT: Any content submitted to the Company must adhere to these guidelines. Must be acceptable under the Federal Communication Commission’s standards, including no use of indecent or obscene material or language. Content should not infringe or violate any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, or other intellectual property, proprietary, or contractual right of a third party. No defamatory or libelous material or material which discloses private or personal matters concerning any person, without such person’s consent. No content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane or pornographic. No misrepresentation or disparaging remarks about Sponsor or its products, or other people, products or companies. No content which implies or portrays graphic violence excessive use of alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any

activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous. No content which is abusive or harassing towards any individual or group of individuals regarding race, sex, religion, creed, national origin, age, disability, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or any legally protected classification. Specifically this includes, but is not limited to, epithets or slurs, threats, intimidations, or hostile acts. No content communicating messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate. Must be socially acceptable and in good taste, as determined by the Sponsor and in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law. Cannot contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission. Entries which the judges determine, at their discretion, to be incomplete, incorrect, illegible, or not in accordance with these rules will be disqualified without notice to the entrant. Voting- Once entry has been completed, the photos will be posted both on Columbus International Auto Show’s Facebook page and the Official Contest Homepage. The photos will then be open to voting by the general public on the Official Contest Homepage. The “Voting Period” will begin at 1:00 PM on February 24th, 2014 and end at 12:00 AM on March 3rd, 2014. The three entrants with the most votes at the end of the Voting Period will be selected as finalists. Voters must “Like” Columbus International Auto Show Facebook page to participate in voting. Limit one (1) vote per person twenty-four (24) hour period. While reasonable attempts to notify finalists will be made, it is the responsibility of the finalist to be available for notification. Finalist must respond within twenty-four (24) hours of notification. In the case where a finalist has not responded to Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours, finalist forfeits opportunity to win, and a replacement finalist will be chosen. Sponsor will contact finalists through direct message via the social media site used to submit the entry, or contact information provided during entry, or, if the alternate method of entry was used, via the contact information provided. A display will be created at the Columbus International Auto Show with pictures of each finalist’s entered vehicle. Voting will be open to attendees at the Columbus International Auto Show. All previous votes will be discarded and voting for a winner from the three finalists will begin at zero (0). Voting will take place during the Columbus International Auto Show during official “Secondary Voting Period” (Thursday- 12:00PM to 9:00PM, Friday- 12:00PM to 9:00PM, Saturday- 10:00AM to 9:00PM, and Sunday- 10:00AM to 2:00PM). In order to vote, auto show attendees will complete a ballot designating their vote and place it in the box in front of the vehicle they wish to vote for. The finalist with the most votes at the end of the Voting Period will be the winner. Finalist must be able to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle entered. Finalist must be available to be at the Columbus International Auto Show Sunday, March 16th, 2014, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for winner presentation. Finalist agrees that a representative of the Auto Show or their designee may take a photo or photos of the finalist’s vehicle for display at the Columbus Convention Center during the official “Secondary Voting Period. The prize to be awarded will be: Winner will have the choice between one (1) of the following—a Honda Civic LX Sedan (MSRP $19,190) OR a Honda Civic Coupe LX (MSRP $18,990). The Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a finalist or potential winner. If the potential finalist or winner does not claim the prize within the appropriate time given upon notification or unless otherwise stated herein, the entrant will automatically be disqualified and their prize will be forfeited. Furthermore eligible entrants agree as follows: By participating, you agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) as between you and the Sponsor, that the decisions of the Sponsor is final on all matters relating to the Contest; (c) you are not participating on behalf of any employer or third party; (d) in the event that you not comply with the rules, then the eligible winner will be disqualified. No representatives or agents may claim the prize on the winner’s behalf. prohibited by law, Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Official Rules or to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Giveaway; and in such event, to select a winner by such method as Sponsor in its sole discretion shall consider equitable; By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, and agree that Sponsor shall have the right, free of charge, to publish and/or broadcast by any means the name, city of residence, photographs, video, and statements of the finalists or winner. Finalists and potential winner’s name and likeness may be published and may be used for promotion or publication in the future. The winner must present a valid drivers’ license with his/her photograph, name and address, proof of social security number, proof of vehicle ownership, and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release to claim the prize. Should the winner be deemed ineligible at the time of the drawing or subsequently at the time of delivery, according to the official rules, he/she will be automatically disqualified and will receive no compensation. No cash substitution, transfer or assignment of prize allowed, except at the sole discretion of the sponsors.
