Weel b, Maria Terezinha Peraçoli b (a Botacatu Medical School, Sao Paulo State University, Botucatu, Brazil, b Institute of Biosciences, Sao Paulo State University, Botucatu, Brazil) Objectives: To determine whether concentrations of cytokines and C-reactive protein differentiate pregnant women with early-onset preeclampsia (EOPE) from late-onset preeclampsia (LOPE), and to identify whether there is a correlation between these concentrations and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH).
