8th Grade Midterm Schedule January 2014 Students in the 8th grade must complete a cumulative midterm in each of their subject area classes, including math, science, language arts, social studies, and world language. The midterm dates are represented by the above calendar. These assessments will count separately on students’ report cards and will make up 10% of their final grades for the 2013-2014 school year. Study materials will be provided in advance in every subject area. There are no re-takes for midterms. An individual teacher may choose to include the midterm grade as a grade toward a marking period grade if desired. Students who are absent will be required to make-up midterms upon their return. They will need to make arrangements with their teachers accordingly. Monday
