Textbook – Holt Science & Technology Physical Science, 2001 COURSE DESCRIPTION – Physical Science is the study of matter and energy. We will explore the two main branches of Physical Science: Physics (the study of different forms of energy and how these cause matter to move and change) and Chemistry (the study of different forms of matter and how they interact with energy). In the Physics portion of the class we will learn about things such as motion, machines, sound and electricity. In the Chemistry portion we will learn about things such as chemical bonds, reactions, and atoms.
