College/University: Furman University Year Turned Pro: 1985 Facility and Job Title: Lake of Isles General Manager Background and Credentials I have been a member of the PGA of America since 1989. While my first job as an apprentice was in CT, the majority of my time as an assistant was spent at Innisbrook Resort under Jay Overton. In 1993 I was selected as the first Director of Golf at Fox Hollow GC in NPR, FL. In 1997 I joined Troon Golf and have been a General Manager ever since. I have been in FL, SoCal, NoCal and CT since joining Troon Golf. I have also been involved in 3 "start ups" working with some of the finest golf course architects and designers in the world including Rees Jones. What was your motivation to become a PGA Professional? It was a proven avenue to advance my career in golf. What is your specialty in the golf business? What or who has had the greatest impact on your career? Being involved with a company like Troon Golf. Besides golf, what else do you enjoy? I enjoy Skiing, baseball and hiking.
