ESCAPE TO SUN-DRENCHED GLAMOUR Fresh from New York’s runways, spring has arrived in a burst of bright colours, breezy fabrics, and lively patterns. Designers were inspired by pops of colour, playful prints, and a tailored touch of chic femininity. The sun-drenched glamour of the Italian Riviera was evident in looks for relaxed days and elegant evenings. Spring 2012 beauty is a mix of vintage and new. Featured colours seemed pulled from the past, but were paired with glittering eye accents, timeless neutral tones, and dark shadows and liners done in fresh new ways. New York City-based Lachlan Bailey is an international fashion photographer. He has created memorable images for some of the editorial industry’s biggest names, from Vogue to Harper’s Bazaar, and designers from Marc Jacobs to Louis Vuitton. Originally from Australia, Bailey was influenced at an early age by cinematography. He studied both film and photography in Melbourne before moving to London in 2001.
