Aryaman Minocha, 5 B Name of Book: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief Genre: Adventure The story is about a boy who finds out that he is a demigod. Zeus the king of all Gods thinks he stole the lightning bolt. Hades wanted the lightning bolt so he kidnapped Percy's mother. To get his mother back Percy has to somehow find and return the lightning bolt. Percy is the son Poseidon so he loves to stay in water and slowly learns how to control water. Luke is the villain and wants to make Hades rule the universe. Annabeth is a strong girl and she wants to go for a quest.

Manvir Singh, 5-B Name of Book: Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero Genre: Adventure The story takes place when Queen Hera (Queen of the Greek\Roman Gods) gets captured and three of the seven demigod prophecies are sent on a quest to save her. The main characters in this book are Jason, Piper and Leo. Jason is the most important character as he is the son of Zeus (King of the Greek\Roman Gods) and he is the first prophecy. Jason is like me as he is adventurous. Like me even he thinks nothing is impossible. Even Leo is like me as he always wants to make people laugh and even as he is extremely clumsy like me. I always thought I was a demigod but unfortunately I'm not.

Raag Setia, V-B Name of Book: Heroes OF Olympus: Mark of Athena Genre: Adventure The story is all about the seven Prophecies- Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel and Frank finding the Athena Parenthos a giant statue of Annabeth's mom Athena is the God of battle strategies and wisdom. They have to go through great dangers of fighting the giants and they find that Gaea the God of earth and creator of humans, Gods, titans and the giants has woken up which has put their lives in grave danger as the end of the world may occur. Even though there are quite a few characters in the book, there are only two main characters, Annabeth and Percy. Percy is the hero of this book. He is the son of Poseidon, God of all seas. Percy is brave and courageous and cannot afford to see his friends and family get hurt. He loves water.

Annabeth is the most dangerous girl I've ever come across. She can solve problems in seconds and I am reminded of myself. This is a great book from which you can learn about Greek mythology. If you like adventure books, this book should be next on the list. This is quite a big book but once you start you won’t leave it.
