First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Michael Miner for his valued service to the journal. He stepped down as an Associate Editor at the beginning of this year and is now stepping down as an Editorial Board member as a result of becoming President Elect of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. I am very gratified by the response to the recently introduced Author Q&A feature in the Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment (SAJRT) blog (https://sajrt. blogspot.com). Please let us know what you think of this new feature and the blog more generally, including any suggestions or submissions for future posts (@SAJRT or Kieran McCartan, blogger-in-chief, [email protected]). Finally, I would also like to explain how our peer review process responds to potential conflicts of interest when manuscripts are submitted for consideration by members of the Editorial Board. Submissions by general Editorial Board members are handled by an Associate Editor who does not have a potential conflict of interest with the submitting author(s), such as a current financial arrangement or current collaboration on grants or manuscripts. Submissions by an Associate Editor are handled by a different Associate Editor who is not in a potential conflict of interest. In either of these cases, I would finalize the decision but would not override the Associate Editor recommendation if I was in a potential conflict of interest with the submitting author(s). For submissions involving me as Editor-in-Chief of this journal, the review process would bypass me; the Managing Editor would assign the manuscript to an Associate Editor who would then handle the manuscript from triage to final decision. Michael C. Seto Editor-in-Chief
