With the festive season nearly upon us, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your hard work and continued commitment to improve service delivery over the year and to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As you well know, these are challenging times in our health and social care services. The continued delivery of safe and quality services to patients and clients is dependent, more than ever, on the professionalism and extra commitment of our staff. It is through the commitment and dedication of our staff in 2012/13 that we have been able to deliver increased levels of service to our patients and clients. This is an exemplary performance. I would like to take this opportunity to wish every member of staff and your families a very happy

Christmas and a joyful New Year ahead. I am particularly mindful of those of you who will be working over the Christmas period. Thank you again for your efforts and I know you will continue to do all you can to continue to deliver safe and quality services in difficult times. Many of you I know have signed up to take their Annual leaves but some of us will be working during this time but it is important that we all celebrate the festive season with open eyes. As we mourn & celebrate the life of Dr Nelson Mandela, we have learnt a lot from him, as selfless leader & indeed a father. May his soul Rest in Peace. I do hope that you will all find time to relax over the holiday period and come back refreshed and renewed in 2014. Kind Regards, Mrs P.S Khumalo Chief Executive Officer
