The five components are management purview, quality assurance purview, engineering purview, operations purview and sales and service purview. Each section of the standard is explained in detail, with the most important concepts being depicted graphically to provide clarity. At the end of each section is a summary, which emphasizes sustainability, and how it is accomplished. This book can be used as a primer for those beginning their I S 0 9000 journey or as a resource for improvement for those who have established I S 0 programs.
