The printout can be carried out continuously and does not need supervision. New admissions and patients finishing treatment are printed out in separate, easily distinguished sections. A copy of this program, either as a listing in BASIC or on tape for 48K Sinclair Spectrum, can be obtained from DP at Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD9 6RJ. It should be helpful in oncology, radiotherapy, renal dialysis units and for 'cold' surgical admissions. With slight modifications it could be used for clinics or general practitioners' surgeries.
