Alien® Academy - Budapest Hungary Travel and Restaurant Guide Welcome to the Alien Academy! Thank you for registering for the RFID Academy. We look forward to your upcoming participation. Courses start at 9:00 am and finish at 6:00 pm. Attached, please find information of accommodations, travel logistics and training venue in Budapest, Hungary. We look forward to hosting you soon! Travel Recommendations Plan to arrive the night prior to the course. Information of the recommended hotels is shown below. If you must depart the evening of the last day, plan on a departure after 8:00 PM to accommodate travel time and sessions that may run long. Please arrive at the center 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Access to Budapest by Car Budapest has excellent highway connections not only with its neighboring, but also with all European countries and cities. M1 – from north-west, M3 from east, M5 – from south-east, M6 – from south, M7 – from south-west.

To use the Hungarian highways you have to pay a fee. Highway vignettes can be bought at petrol stations and at some kiosks.
Access to Budapest by Rail There are 3 main international railway stations in Budapest: Eastern (Keleti), Western (Nyugati) and Southern (Déli). More than 50 trains a day provide direct links between Budapest and 25 other European capital cities. Transfer from and to the Railway station will be organized by Alien Technology Hungary (please, inform us in advance about the arrival and departure time and location) and is free of charge.

If you complete this course and believe that you are not prepared to initiate an RFID effort, you can repeat the course within a period of one year, at no cost to you. You will only need to pay for the costs associated with travel, if applicable.
