It’s the new year, and with it Triskel Christchurch presents a wide and varied cinema programme to suit all tastes. While the cinema usually takes place every week from Sunday-Wednesday, for the winter months of January and February the cinema will take place from Friday-Monday. We have a packed line-up for January, including The Butler, The Railway Man, Age Of Uprising and Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. We are also screening the French love story Marius and its companion film Fanny, which are based on the literary work of Marcel Pagnol. Cork, Like, the anthology film which premiered at IndieCork last year, will also be screening, as well as a chance to see Roman Polanski’s Chinatown on the big screen. But that is not all - just check out the programme for documentaries, Japanese animation, Experimental Cinema and Short Film. We are also delighted to be screening a selection of classic movies selected by our cinema patron Aidan Gillen.
