CCNA Certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification: The starting point for every network engineer! Cisco’s CCNA Certification is one of the most recognised certifications in the industry and is the starting point for engineers looking to validate their ability to install, configure, manage and troubleshoot medium-sized networks. Cisco’s Career Certification Programme is split into five distinct levels: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert and Architect. Class-Connect™ HD

Instructor-led Training (classroom) Our expert instructors and hands-on labs provide results oriented, classroom training. We offer public dates at a wide variety of locations. Courses are run by experienced practitioners and many of them lead to external qualifications for delegates. If a public course is not available, we will work with you to provide an in company (on-site) alternative. We also provide webinars, videos and focused classroom (instructor-led) workshops to complement and support our learning programmes.

Alternative Delivery Methods We accept that skilled, motivated employees work more effectively, and thanks to the dawn of flexible and non classroom-based learning, there are more options than ever before. e-Learning has a role, particularly for a theoretical learner, but it is often required to be part of a blended or collaborative activity with access to mentors, learning resources and hands-on development whilst engaging media and social networking. Our Class-Connect™ HD is live, hands-on interactive learning where you can attend a course from different training centres. This premium experience uses HD quality audio and video that connects the classrooms over a high capacity managed network to ensure a ‘real time’ experience. The instructor will be presenting from one location and students attending from other centres are able to interact with the instructor and other delegates using video and voice conferencing.

CCNA Certification in 5 days and 3 easy steps! Global Knowledge has invested significantly in their CCNA Routing and Switching Boot Camp (CCNABC) which is unique to the market and provides the key elements for a successful start to your networking career. The Global Knowledge CCNABC offers a blended learning approach incorporating pre-work, access to assessments, instructor-led training and additional reference material. This, combined with the 5 extended days of classroom training and the post class lab practice, ensures that you are well prepared for your CCNA exam.

The Global Knowledge 3 Step Programme 1: Assessment and Preparation The Global Knowledge CCNA Cert Checker provides a baseline assessment of your current Cisco Routing and Switching knowledge and highlights areas which may need some additional focus. There are approximately 5 hours of pre-work which needs to be done prior to attending the instructor-led component of this course. Taking the time to complete this ensures you can maximise the learning time you spend with your peers and your Global Knowledge expert.

2: Classroom Training Courses During the five day intensive classroom training course, you will be taught - based on a great deal of hands-on lab practice - how to install, configure and manage an IPv4 and IPv6 network. You will learn about Cisco Device Management and licensing, configuring LAN switches and IP routers, identifying security threats, solving network issues, in-depth understanding of WAN technology, connecting a network with a WAN, and configuring EIGRP and OSPF is both IPv4 and IPv6. Lab access is 24/7 for the duration of the course, allowing you to practice what you have learnt while it is fresh in the memory and to revisit anything that needs further clarification with your Global Knowledge expert.

3: Practice makes Perfect! We know that it is not always easy to maintain momentum once you have left the classroom, but the key to success is without doubt practice, practice and more practice. Global Knowledge’s unique offering provides you with a number of tools that will make your revision and preparation for the exam just that little bit easier: • e-Lab Credits: You will receive 10 e-lab credits after completing the course in order to hone the skills you have just learned. Every credit will allow you 50 minutes of access to physical labs that simulate a typical network environment. • Revision Guides: You will have access to revision guides that provides useful revision tips as well as links to additional tools that can be of benefit when preparing for the exam. • CCNA Xtra: Access to CCNA Xtra is via the Global Knowledge Community Learning Portal. You will be able to revisit the CCNA pre-work, review video tutorials, technical documents and additional support tools.
