HONORED O N BIRTHDAY Mr. J o h n s o n o f Morris, w h o s e picture a t t h e a g e of 9 0 and a short biographical sketch appeared in t h e paper last February, enjoyed once a g a i n a full d a y o f b i r t h d a y f e s tivities on Monday, February 1 7 w h e n h e reached t h e a g e of 9 1 . M a n y of his friends visited h i m t o reminisce and w i s h h i m well. Mr. Johnson is in excellent health but for failing eyesight which has made it necessary for him t o curtail his activities t o a g r e a t e x t e n t H e d e c l a r e s , "I f e e l just a s good as I did a t 20". H e keeps abreast of t h e times through his transistor radio, w h i c h is h i s c o n s t a n t companion. H e is still very alert a n d interested in current n e w s events a n d enjoys a good discussion concerning politics, t h e w a r o r a n y issue of t h e d a y . One of the highlights of his day was a congratulatory greeting from Congressman Samuel Stratton. Mr. J o h n s o n r e m a r k e d t o a v i s i t o r , "I don't give a thought t o dying, w e might a s well live while w e are here. I intend t o live t o 100 a t least".
