Rosemary Hillman Web: www.rosiequilts.com Email: [email protected] Originally taught Patchwork by my Grandmother as a small child I have continued to employ the craft since. Continually learning and passing on my knowledge to others in various ways, I have developed a wide range of teaching methods which have helped others improve their techniques. Currently I am travelling all over the UK teaching and talking to Quilting and Womens’ Groups as well as running regular Lessons in Shepton Mallet. 1 Hour Lecture -“Now I know the basics where do I go

from here?” with Rosemary Hillman Lecture only The content of this talk is ever changing depending on who the audience is. Every one of us needs to find design inspiration from somewhere and often we need to add to our store of knowledge and techniques to be able to complete our design ideas. The quilts I bring along to share convey some of the ways in which the audience can develop what they already know, possibly together with some new skills to improve their own quilting experience. Beginning by exploring what can be achieved with just two fabrics and moving through ideas and shapes to include more complex patterns. My aim being to inspire people to try something a little different whatever their skill level.
