CONSUELO BOYD COLLECTION-MSS 68 Papers: 1960-1980 2 Boxes, .75 cu. ft. SCOPE AND CONTENT Consuelo Boyd, multi-lingual librarian, writer and researcher, often worked as a translator. This collection is comprised of manuscript materials and correspondence. Among the manuscripts is a copy of Boyd’s English Translation of the Index to El Archivo de Hidalgo del Parral, 1631-l821, which was published in 1971 (At ASU: on microfilm and cataloged as CD 3676.P313 1631) Also included is a manuscript copy of Rudolph Francis Acuna’s doctoral dissertation, on which the book Sonora Strongman was based. Several photographs of Spanish missions and Mexican villages have been removed and cataloged separately. DESCRIPTION
