COOKEVILLE'S ORIGINAL FANTASY NASCAR LEAGUE RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. There will be 3 seasons consisting of 12 races each season. (Spring/Summer/Fall) 2. Each team must be made up of 8 drivers only with a $10 million salary cap. 3. Driver prices/values will be determined by the board. Before each season. 4. The entry fee is $50 for each season: ($26 entry fee for the pool; ($2)(12 races)=$24; Weekly winner each race. ($24 + $26 =$50). The cost of supplies (paper, ink, etc.) comes out of the entry fee at the end of each season. The entry fee is due when the team is entered. There will be a $5 per trade fee. A team can trade their entire team, all 8 drivers, for $25. 5. The first race of each section gets no qualifying points. 6. The official results on www.nascar.com the Tuesday after the race @ 7:00pm will be the final standing for that weeks race. Any points taken away from drivers by NASCAR will not be deducted from drivers in Fantasy NASCAR. 7. The team on record with the board on Thursday at 10:00pm before that weeks race will be the team for that weeks race. No trades will be allowed after Thursday at 10:00pm for that weeks race. Any team that has a driver(s) unable to race, regardless if injured, deceased or fired will race without that (those) driver(s) until they trade that (those) driver(s). 8. All trade fees must be paid each week before that weeks race, or the trade(s) will not be allowed. 9. Any team that attempts to field a team over the salary cap will automatically revert back to their previous race team and have to pay for the trade(s). 10. NO team(s) can trade into another team, including their own team, for the purpose of blocking th another team from gaining points after the 9 race of the season. 11. If one or more teams trade into the same team in the same week, and those teams win the week, the weekly winnings will be split between those teams. 12. A team has 7 days after a race to protest any scoring discrepancies or results. 13. Scoring will consist of qualifying points on a desending points scale . The qualifying points nd rd th th th will be awarded as follows: Pole . 25 ,2 . 23, 3 .22 ,4 21 5 20 6 19 etc. and the official NASCAR points awarded to each of the first 2 stages top 10 points, and 3rd stage top 40 points .A scoring reference sheet will be provided.
14. There are 3 official scorekeepers from the Fantasy NASCAR board. The scorekeepers are given a free team for each scorekeeper, This is for their time and effort of keeping score + records for the league each session. The cost of these 3 teams are paid out of the money for each session funds for a total of $150.
15. The weekly winner with the highest total points get $2 times number of teams in the section. All entry fees and trade dollars go into the pool to be paid out at the end of season pay out party. The race pool will be paid to the top 5 scores at the end of the season pay out party. The pay out st nd rd th th percentages is: 1 . 45%, 2 . 25%, 3 . 15%, 4 - 10%, and 5 . 5%. 16. The Fantasy Nascar board meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Wooly Bullys. All trades must be submitted to the board by Thursday at 10:00 p.m. The trades may be phoned/emailed to one of the board members by Thursday at 10:00 p.m. The highest weekly race score will be paid out at this time. If the winner is unable to attend, the teams account will be credited the weekly winnings. 17. If a team trades for a driver who is already on their team they will automatically revert back to their previous race team and will also have to pay for the trade(s). 18. Any team can ask the Fantasy NASCAR board to vote on a ruling if they choose to protest a score or rule. The decision of the Fantasy NASCAR board is final.
