The authors regret the first two statements of the second paragraph on P386 should be read as “In the United States, game meats are regulated by the FDA according to the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C). The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) provides a voluntary inspection service for some domestically-slaughtered game meats under Animals and Animal Products, 9 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 352, 354, and 362.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
