EDUC 712 Course Syllabus

The candidate will use the SPSS software to complete the SPSS assignments. Using the SPSS data set provided and corresponding case studies, the candidate will choose the appropriate analysis, run the statistical procedure, analyze the data, and report the results in a properly formatted APA results section. The results section must be written using the candidate’s own words and structure; using the wording and structure of the course examples will be considered plagiarism. The candidate will also submit his/her SPSS output copy and pasted at the end of the submitted Word document. Each SPSS Assignment is due by the end of the identified module/week. When submitting the document, the candidate must use the following file name: course, last name, first name, assignment (i.e., EDUC712_Doe_John_tTest). F.

Check Your Understanding (CYU) Quizzes (12) The candidate will take 12 open-book/open-notes quizzes covering the assigned Warner textbook readings and corresponding course presentations and tutorials. Each quiz will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions. Each quiz may be taken up to 3 times. The score earned on the final attempt will be the score earned on the quiz. There will not be a chance to revert back to an earlier score, even if it is higher. The candidate will have 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete each quiz. It is recommended that the candidate complete the comprehension questions at the end of each Warner chapter to prepare for the quizzes, as many quiz questions are derived from the comprehension questions.
