Professor Milenko Stegic Lecturer: Course objective: This course deals with the vibrations of lumped-parameter models of mechanical systems. The following topics are covered: lumped-parameter vibration models, structural elements mass and stiffness, damping, vibration analysis of lumped-parameter models (one- and multi-degree-of-freedom), modal analysis, vibration isolation. Prerequisite: Mechanics I, Mechanics II Learning outcomes: Upon the completion of the course, the student should be able to construct simple vibration models of mechanical systems and perform time- and frequency-domain vibration analysis. Course contents
