CREATING A CITATION MAP ON SOCIAL SCIENCES CITATION INDEX/ ISI WEB OF SCIENCE.
These guidelines do not demonstrate how to access and search the database. If you need help with searching Social Sciences Citation Index, please use the following guide http://wokinfo.com/media/pdf/qrc/wosqrc.pdf. Step 1 - Once you have found the article on Social Sciences Citation index (web of Science), click on the citation map button.
Step 2 - You will then have the option to display the article with its references (backward), with the articles which have cited it (Forward), or both (Forward and backward). If the article has been cited, then click on the latter. Once selected, click on the Create the citation map button located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3 - You should see the following screen:
If not, check your pop-up blockers settings. REMEMBER that it will only work if the article is listed on the database and if it has been cited within the database. For any further help, please use the Ask a Librarian service.
