A l d e n YA C H T S 4 3 “ D r e s s B l u e ” Dress Blue, (former Infinity) one of only three Alden Yachts 43’s in existence is an exceptional example of American craftsmanship. This assertion was validated by noted marine author Ferenc Máté when he included her on pages 18-20 of The World’s Greatest Sailboats Volume II. Since launch, she has been lovingly cared for and continuously updated by two successive experienced yachtsmen- owners. This powerful blue water yacht has been yard maintained to the highest standard and is ready to carry her master to any port in the world in comfort and safety. She is stunningly beautiful and turns heads in every harbor. Her ash interior trimmed in cherry and accented with colorful upholstery and Corian countertops surrounds owner and guests with light and luxury. Her “Bristol” condition and extensive inventory reflects her owner’s refusal to compromise on quality and safety. Dress Blue is located in Portland, ME USA and is ready for your inspection. DRESS BLUe

Dress Blue has been pampered since launch. She has been owned by only two captains and both maintained her to the highest yacht standards. To quote the original owner: "If you want to get to know your boat and the conditions of all systems, clean her.....every inch of her regularly!". When the current Captain took possession of the former Infinity, the boat was in exceptional shape. Upon re-christening as Dress Blue, she was returned to her builder, Alden Yachts to upgrade systems and electronics, paint the hull and mast with Awlgrip®, enhance furniture and install new interior treatments. A Forespar LeisureFurl system and a North mainsail were installed by Morris Yachts. The previous uncompromising level of attention to safety, systems and appearance has been rigorously continued by her present owner. She has been yard maintained by Alden Yachts, Morris Yachts and since 2007 by Maine Yacht Center. Both boat and mast have always been stored indoors in heated storage. Complete maintenance records are available from the current captain for the entire period of his ownership. The future owner of Dress Blue can sail with confidence knowing that she’s ready to embark on a blue water adventure or to turn heads in any port.
