David Carey David Carey is the senior economist on the United States/Iceland Desk in the Economics Department of the OECD. He is responsible for the preparation of OECD Economic Surveys, projections and structural policy reviews for these countries. David has worked for 21 years at the OECD in various positions. Before joining the OECD, he worked as an economist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand for nine years. David is a New Zealander and holds a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.
