New Products in Stock From Skacel, we have received some very luscious and tempting Hikoo yarns. Simplinatural is an all natural chunky weight blend of 40% alpaca 40% wool and 20% mulberry silk. Gorgeous colours, texture and hand, 170m/100g. Have made a 2 skein capelet/infinityscarf/neckwarmer/hood “Kansas City Cowl” with the crimson red. So warm and lovely and versatile.

Hikoo Rylie is equally tempting in an exceptionally pretty pastel range, dk weight at 253m/100g, blending natural luxury of pastel coloured 50% baby alpaca, 25% mulberry silk and 25% linen. Have made a 1 skein cowl with this one. So excited to have an alpaca silk dk and this one with linen has substance. What an excellent blend! Hikoo Cobasi plus is the amazing Cobasi, cotton, bamboo, silk and elastic nylon blend in a worsted weight. Enough colours to satisfy most baby and kid knitters, at 163m 100g, soft, wonderful blend which will join our go to yarns Simplicity and Simpliworsted superwash dk and chunky wool blends for baby and child projects, only offering a non-wool yarn for those concerned about allergies or itch, and proven versatility. On right below is a great lacy effect summer project to throw on which takes 4 50 gram balls of cobasi, on an 8mm needle!

Hikoo Kenzie has come out with 10 new colours. Was floored with the Turtleneck Jacket design in Kenzie from KnitWear fall 2013 above. Simply elegant and stunning! This is one of the most interesting blends to come out in the last few years, 160 yds/50g, and can be knit on 4mm to 5.5mm to get gauge from 4 to 5.5 sts to the inch. Made in New Zealand people! It blooms beautifully because of the angora content. Some of the new patterns are interesting as well, check out Winter Beach and the 2 Skacel patterns below.
