Non-freezing pillar fire hydrant with protecting hood, for the connection above ground of the mobile equipment of fire protection services.
Description • In conformity with standards NF S 61-213/CN and NF EN 14384. • NF quality brand for French market. • High performances: - Low operating torque, - Bubble tight shut-off, - Non-freezing type, - Traffic type (Choc version), avoiding leakage in case of impact. • Design: - Symmetric outlets, in conformity with NF E 29-572 French standard. Other models on request, - Clockwise closing direction (CC), - Anti-water hammer and anti-vibrations main valve guide, enabling progressive opening/closing, - Thick main valve with elevated seat, easing the watertightness in presence of foreign matters, - Duck foot bend with loose flange with space requirement according to EN 545, - Automatic drainage device that can be inspected without digging, with protective tube. • Anticorrosion protection: - By internal and external epoxy coating by cataphoresis, - Composite hood, corrosion resistance, with coating insensitive to Ultraviolet radiation, in conformity with NFX 08-008 standard.
Technical data • Range : DN 100 and DN 100 traffic type. Also available in DN 65, 80, 150. • Maximal working pressure: PN 16. • Seating: rate 3 according to NF E 29-311 standard. • Connection flanges drilling according to standards EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2: ISO PN 10/16.
Applications • Fire protection networks (according to EN 1074-6 standard).
