In the above paper, on page 231 under the heading “PCR amplification and labelling,” the first primer sequence listed, SFup18S70 (5′-AACTTGGTCATTTAGAGGAAG-3′), is missing three bases at the 3′ end. The following is the correct sequence: 5′-AACTTGGTCATTTAGAGGAAGTAA-3′ The authors wish to note that after the paper was published, all of the probe and primer sequences were deposited in the NCBI Probe database. The ProbeID numbers for the membrane oligonucleotides are 10023243–10023306. The ProbeID numbers for the primers used are 10023307–10023315. 622
