On Completion, Participants Should:

This module looks at the most up-to-date methods of internet marketing and has been co-designed with industry specialist Google.

−− Understand the key differences between digital and print marketing.

Skills The arena of marketing and media has changed drastically over the past 10 years and continued rapid change is anticipated into the future. Where once you absolutely had to get an advert into a newspaper, many marketeers would say that such an ad is not worth the paper it is printed on. We will be looking at the most progressive ways of marketing online and how companies are devising new and innovative ways of selling their products to an increasingly ‘plugged in’ world. Participants will learn more from this module if they have a website (their own or someone elses) that they wish to promote.

−− Be able to evaluate a website for search engine optimisation. −− Be able to understand how online marketing works, including bidding, keyword selection and placement. −− Be able to set up and run a successful search campaign. −− Be able to set up and run a successful display campaign.
