The Latin GRAMMY Awards® program is an elegantly produced commemorative book that colorfully celebrates the year’s Latin GRAMMY nominees and the excitement of the Biggest Night in Latin Music. The official program book’s carefully curated bilingual content showcases the nominees for the Latin GRAMMY Awards, the Lifetime and Trustees Award honorees and the 2013 Latin Recording Academy® Person of the Year, as well as the history of The Latin Recording Academy®. The Latin GRAMMYs actively embrace social media to connect with an audience that loves Latin music. In addition to the beautifully produced print program, distributed at the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast and at several high-profile Latin GRAMMY Week events, this year, for the first time, the official Latin GRAMMY program book will also be distributed digitally. The rich-media enhanced program book will be available on LatinGRAMMY.com as well as promoted via the Latin GRAMMY social networks including a Twitter audience of more than 1.6 million followers. The Latin GRAMMY Awards are presented by The Latin Recording Academy, a membership-based association composed of musicians, producers, engineers, and other creative and technical recording professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life and the cultural conditions for Latin music and its makers. The Latin Recording Academy provides quality educational and cultural programs, networking opportunities and advocacy on such issues as copyright protection, artists’ rights, and legislation that affects the arts and culture. The organization has pledged to preserve the identity and vitality of the hundreds of regional forms of Latin music found throughout the world — musical styles that serve as the foundation of Latin music.

the BUZZ • The 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place on Nov. 21, 2013, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. More than 7,000 of the most influential people in Latin culture — recording artists, songwriters, producers, engineers as well as celebrities from the world of television, film and sports — will be in attendance. • The high-quality commemorative 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards program book will be distributed at the telecast, and at several prestigious events held during Latin GRAMMY Week. • The 2013 Person of the Year is Spanish singer, performer, author and actor and Latin GRAMMY winner Miguel Bosé. He will be feted at an exclusive black tie gala the night before the 14th Latin GRAMMY telecast featuring performances by some of Latin music’s most respected artists. • A rich-media enhanced version of the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards program book will be available on the LatinGRAMMY.com website for one year. The tri-lingual website is actively seen by a worldwide audience, with the highest viewership coming from the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. • The digital 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards program book will be promoted across Latin GRAMMY social media properties, including more than 1.6 million Twitter followers and more than 190,000 Latin GRAMMY Facebook fans. • The 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be televised around the world in more than 100 countries, with a global audience of 80 million. The XIII Annual Latin GRAMMYs were seen in the United States on Univision by more than 10 million viewers, with 1.37 million viewers in the coveted 18-34 age demo. • The XIII Annual Latin GRAMMYs Awards’ overall social media activity topped 1.1 million mentions the night of the telecast. • The Latin GRAMMYs have more than 1.6 million Twitter followers (and growing), more than any other awards show.

FILE S PECIFICATIO N S : Acceptable File Formats: Latin GRAMMY® Program Book only accepts PDF files (strongly preferred), InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator (CS4 or below) files. Adobe Acrobat PDF Files: Must be high-resolution, print optimized. Be sure to embed all fonts and placed images in PDF. Please save color pages as composite color (not pre-separated files). All files (regardless of application) must be flattened before generating PDF files. Adobe Illustrator Files: Illustrator files must be saved in EPS format with all fonts outlined. Adobe Photoshop Files: Photoshop files must be in EPS or TIFF format; delete additional alpha channels and rasterize font layers. General File Creation Information: Do not embed EPS files in other EPS files, if possible. All files must be minimum 300 dpi. All files must be CMYK or grayscale. Do not use RGB.

GE N ERAL INFORMATION: The Latin Recording Academy reserves the right of approval on all copy and artwork. Any artwork portraying logos or trademarks of The Latin Recording Academy or Latin GRAMMY Awards must have advance written approval before advertising order can be accepted. A ® (registered mark) must accompany any application of the Latin GRAMMY name or logo in ad artwork, in accordance with The Latin Recording Academy’s style. Omission of the mark will incur modification charges to the advertiser. ®

The word “GRAMMY” must appear in all caps in ads. All references in ads to the Latin GRAMMY Awards must read “14th Latin GRAMMY® Awards,” not “2013 Latin GRAMMY Awards.”

For the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMYs, the Latin Recording Academy will also recognize Lifetime Achievement Award (Premio a la Excelencia Musical) and Trustees Award (Premio del Consejo Directivo) honorees, as well as a Person of the Year (2013 Persona del Año). Please supply the URL to us using the following structure: http://www.youtube.com/v/video_id, where video_ID is the ID that YouTube assigns to a video they host. • We recommend in the range of 500 pixels wide as a minimum. You can use any aspect ratio.
