Abstract: Pselaphia haladai sp. n. and Pselaphia zambiensis sp. n. are described from Zambia. All African Pselaphia species are keyed and main differential characters are illustrated. Key words: Pselaphia, Chloropidae, Diptera, key, Zambia.

Introduction Pselaphia Becker, 1911 is a small genus of the family Chloropidae (Diptera). Only three species are known in the world fauna. The genus was described by Becker (1911) from the Oriental region (Pselaphia macrocera). Two additional species are known from the Afrotropical region. The first species, Pselaphia cornifera, was described by Becker (1912) and the second species, Pselaphia flava, was added by Sabrosky (1957) from Cape Verde Islands. I have found two additional new Afrotropical species in the material of Chloropidae collected by J. Halada in Zambia.
