STEP #1 HEATER STOVE A. Use a screw gun to pre-assemble the heater stove and cover with two of the self drilling screws from the hardware kit. The screws can now be removed and reinstalled with a screwdriver. Disassemble and proceed to the next step.

FIGURE 1 B. Wrap the aluminum wire mesh around the exhaust pipe and assemble the heater stove cover to the heater stove around the exhaust pipe as shown in figure 1. Re– assemble with the two self-drilling screws. C. Check clearance of hose outlet to the clutch cooling housing on bottom of cover and attach the assembly to the exhaust pipe with 2 hose clamps. Reference figure 5 next page. STEP #2 BLOWER AND HEATER VENT A. Install vent as shown in figure 2 by drilling a 2 inch dia. hole in the seat base and pushing the vent into place. WARNING: Check behind seat base for wires or other obstructions before drilling.

B. Attach blower to blower mounting plate with four 1/4-20 x 3/4” long bolts, eight flat washers, and four 1/4-20 nylon lock nuts, with blower oriented as shown in figure 3. C. Install blower and mounting bracket assembly under seat with three self-drilling screws as shown in figure 4 (next page).

STEP #3 HOSES A. Install the long piece of hose between the stove and the blower inlet, as shown in figure 4 and 5, using two of the large hose clamps provided (one each side). B. Install the remaining piece of hose between the blower outlet and the vent as shown in figure 6.

STEP #4 SWITCH AND WIRING A. The heater switch will mount on the driver’s side of the seat base as shown in figure 7 and 8. Install by drilling a 7/16” diameter hole. WARNING: Check behind seat base for wires or other obstructions before drilling.

STEP #4 SWITCH AND WIRING (Continued) CAUTION: Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before starting the wiring.

B. Install the fuse in the fuse holder. Cut the loop of wire on the fuse holder (fig 9). Install a ring terminal on one end of the fuse holder and a butt splice connector on the other (reference part list in wiring kit). Attach the fuse holder to the positive battery terminal with the ring connector.

C. Install a piece of the red wire to the butt splice connector of the fuse holder. Route over to the switch, cut to length and connect to the “B” terminal of the switch using a female push on connector. (FIG 11) D. Attach one end of the remaining wire to the “H” terminal of the switch with a female push on connector. Route to the orange wire on the blower, cut to length and connect with a female bullet connector. (FIG 10 & 11)

E. Repeat for “L” terminal and red blower wire. (FIG 10 & 11) F. Wrap wires in split loom provided.

CAUTION After Installation regular service checks must be performed to avoid system malfunction and the potential for deadly carbon monoxide gas entering the cab. The exhaust pipe should be inspected for any leaks, visible cracks, loose bolts etc. The heating stove should be periodically checked to be free of any metal corrosion or loose connections. It is the sole responsibility of the consumer to carry out these service checks.
