1992

Biography I have been involved in alternative dispute resolution as an arbitrator, m ediator, neutral evaluator and as a participant since I began practicing law in 1987. My involvem ent as a neutral began with m y service on the Bar Association’s Fee Dispute Resolution Com m ittee and with m y representation of school districts in em ploym ent m atters. Because of m y experience in business and the construction industry and in construction law and litigation, I have been called upon frequently to m ediate and arbitrate in construction cases. I have attended seminars in both arbitration and m ediation since 1992, and recently com pleted an extensive 40 hour m ediation training program in order to continue to develop m y skills in order to better serve m y clients and parties utilizing m y services. I bring extensive civil trial experience, a business and construction background, and personal experience to the table as a m ediator. I draw on these resources when conducting m ediations and arbitrations, just as I do when I represent clients in those proceedings. Professional Activities Prepared written materials for and have lectured on general negligence, construction law, condominium law, legal ethics and related topics Testified at legislative hearings regarding construction-related legislation Active in insurance and legislative issues involving the construction industry and condominium association representation

Hourly Rates My hourly rate for arbitration/mediation services is $225/hour. I charge a minimum of 2 hours for private mediations and will conduct them at our office or your location. Mileage and travel are charged door to door.
