ABSTRACT It is known that the success of a volleyball team is related to vertical jump height along with an increase in the talent required for the sport. 14 licensed male sportsmen (age: 19.6±0.9 years, height:180.5±7.3 cm, body weight: 74.9±3.9kg) playing in the university volleyball team were voluntarily participated in the study. First measurements were performed at the beginning of the season, before the training started, while the second measurements obtained at the end of the ten week. Plyometric training was performed 3 days a week for 10 weeks by jumping from the jump boxes having an initial jump height of 40 cm with 5 cm augmentations every 2 weeks. Data were evaluated by using SPSS for Windows 21.0 software and mean values were represented as “arithmetic mean ± standard deviation”. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test was used for the comparisons between the measurements. Analysis results were evaluated within 95% confidence interval. We obtained a significant difference at the level of p
