Those present were Leigh Andrews, Victor Widrig, Franklin Rudd, Steve Shirley, Virginia Robbins, Richard Moffet, Marjorie Pomicter, J i m Horth, Wesley Wilton, Cloyd Ferguson, Russell Hill, Francis Jordal, Winifred Landon, Sr., Robert Edick, Rex McNitt, A m b r o s e Yerdon, Robert Darling, J o h n Stacy, Dale M a c k l e n , D i a n e Moffet, Grace Cole, a n d C h a r l e s Q u a c k e n b u s h , arid representatives from B & L Equipment, Tracey Road Equipment, and DeVeau Ford Tractor, Inc. Bids on t h e loader with t h e town's trade-in, included: B & L Equipment, Inc. — 1988 J o h n Deere 544E - $48,800; Tracey road Equipment, Inc. — 1988 Trojan 1900Z - 853,387, and a 1988 Trojan 1500Z Turbo - $47,561; DeVeau Ford Tractor, Inc. — 1988 Fiat-Allis FR11 $57,170; Halsey Machinery Co., Inc. — 1988 Case W14B $54,100. The board met Monday,'March 14 at 8 p.m. t o examine the bids.

The regular meeting w a s opened with t h e reading of t h e m i n u t e s of t h e February 9 meeting, which were accepted a s was t h e Abstract of Audited Vouchers *3 for the Highway Fund a n d General Fund. . The board also heard: a letter from J o h n Caroann, town attorney, concerning issuing appearance tickets for delinquent dog owners; tabled a r e q u e s t for a letter to t h e State Codes Office in Watertown until t h e special meeting; h a n d l e d donated funds for t h e refurbishing t h e town hall and s e t goals for its refurbishing; appointed J i m Horth t o t h e refurb i s h i n g c o m m i t t e e ; discussed correspondence concerning t h e r e q u e s t to maintain Stacy Drive beyond its current point; approved the town clerk's attandance at the Town Clerk's Conference i n Albany in April, and heard c o n c e r n s from t h e audience. New Center To Provide Services Oswego County residents w h o a r e afflicted with A l z h e i m e r ' s Disease a n d members of their families will be able to receive care and assistance from the new C e n t r a l New Y o r k , A l z heimer's Disease Assistance Center, according to Mary R. King, Aging Services A d m i n i s t r a t o r Tor t h e Oswego County Office for the Aging. According to King, t r e center, located at t h e SUN\ Health Science Center, in S y r a c u s e , will begin services Friday, April 1. T h e center received funding from the state health department to provide a variety of services t o Alzheimer patients

and their families. The c e n t e r will provide a s s e s s m e n t and early detection clinical services, assistance in managing difficult behavioral problems, s u p p o r t a n d c o u n s e l for families u n d e r stress, and education services. Patients may be referred by family members, physicians and other health professionals, and patients themselves. Charges for services may be reimbursable under Medicare.
