The Paper Reference is ENGB3. l Answer two questions. l There are two sections: Section A: Language Acquisition Section B: Language Change. l Answer one question from Section A and one question from Section B. l Do all rough work in the answer book. Cross through any work you do not want to be marked. Information l The maximum mark for this paper is 96. l There are 48 marks for each section. l You will be marked on your ability to: – use good English – organise information clearly – use specialist vocabulary where appropriate. Advice l It is recommended that you spend 30 minutes on the reading and preparation of the data to be analysed in answering the questions. It is recommended that you then spend 60 minutes writing your Section A answer and 60 minutes writing your Section B answer.
