Your teacher for this online course At PSC our teachers are committed to assisting you in your learning throughout the course. For the Creative Photoshop Skills course your teacher will be one of the world’s most experienced online Photoshop teachers Mark Derbyshire. Mark has educated over a thousand students over the last seven years and through his wealth of experience has created the best online classroom interface for learning Photoshop postproduction editing.

Learning online The assignments you submit will provide Mark with the information required to assess your technical understanding of how to best edit images in Adobe Camera Raw and the full editing space of Photoshop CC or Photoshop CS6. The assignments offer advice on the optimum capture workflows as well as postproduction editing techniques so that all students achieve a higher level of craft and become better photographers. The assessment for this course is objective (technical proficiency) rather than subjective (artistic merit) although we encourage creativity and critical debate in the online class forums in relation to conceptual thinking and aesthetics.

Course requirements You will be required to capture images using the RAW file format using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera system. You will need access to Photoshop through the Adobe CC or a copy of Photoshop CS6. Access to a tripod and flash is also recommended, but not essential.

PSC CONDITION OF ENROLMENT Course withdrawals If you need to withdraw from this course, you are required to give at least four working days' notice prior to the start date of the course – start date: 27 September 2013. A $60 withdrawal fee applies. Refunds may take up to 15 working days. No refunds or transfers will be issued for withdrawals when less than four working days' notice is given and after course commencement.
