What is Office in a Box with Microsoft Office 365 (OIAB 365)?

Office In A Box with Microsoft Office 365 (OIAB 365) is a bundle package comprises of Broadband, Voice Plan and Microsoft Office 365. The Microsoft Office user ID / seat provided is 1 seat for the speed of 1Mbps and 2 seats for 2Mbps, 4Mbps & 8Mbps inclusive of Sub-Domain Name. The package also consists of free WiFi Modem, a cordless phone and TM WiFi ID. The Microsoft Office 365 (Office 365) features includes; 

What are the features provided by Microsoft Office 365 service?

Microsoft Office Web Apps – create, edit & store Office documents such as Words, Excel and PowerPoint Exchange Online – access email and calendar from any device with Internet connection SharePoint Online – share documents and collaborate with colleagues online anywhere Lync Online - instant messaging, presence and online conference

Who is eligible to subscribe to the packages?

All New and Existing Business Broadband Customer, with valid Business Registration Number

What is the minimum subscription period for OIAB 365?

The minimum subscription of OIAB 365 is 24 months from the date of installation.

What if I terminate the service within minimum subscription period?

Customer will be charged RM600 for early termination of OIAB 365.

What is zero entry promotion?

During this promotion, customers do not have to pay for installation and activation fee worth RM163.

When can I start enjoying OIAB 365 services?

Upon registration, TM installer will come to your premise within 7 days and install the broadband service. Other services i.e. voice plan and Value Added Services (VAS) will be activated after the broadband is installed and activated.

How do I being notified on the activation of other services?

For Microsoft Office 365, you will be notified via your preferred email and will be contacted by TM personnel.

What is the equipment installer brings during OIAB 365 installation?

Installer will bring OIAB box which consists of wireless modem and cordless phone.

What does my bill looks like?

Installation & activation fees of RM163 (if applicable) Pro-rated subscription fee for the current month Second month advance subscription fee RM10 stamp duty Any additional voice usage will be charged under “Penggunaan”.

Sample bill description : For OIAB 365 1Mbps RM198  RM120 will be charged under “Caj Perkhidmatan Internet”  RM78 will be charged under “Talian Tetap”

If I have call plan on my business broadband and I would like to apply for OIAB 365, what happen to my existing call plan?

Existing call plan will be replaced with OIAB 365 call plan.

If I am an existing Streamyx or business broadband customer, can I change my existing services to OIAB 365 package?

Yes. If you are using SOHO Business Broadband, then you can maintain the existing broadband together with your login ID and email. However, if you currently subscribe to Fixed IP packages, you will be downgraded to SOHO Business Broadband and you will no longer have fixed IP address/addresses and you will be given a new login name.

If I do not have TM Business line can I subscribe to OIAB 365?

You need a TM Business line to subscribe to OIAB 365. You can apply for TM Business line and check if business broadband service is available at your area at any TMpoint or TM Authorized Reseller.

How do I check for business broadband service availability?

You may check for business broadband service availability at any TMpoint or TM Authorized Reseller. Yes, for OIAB 365 customer, you will be charged the following one-time charges for TM Business line: (i) Deposit

If I subscribe OIAB 365 together with TM Business line, can I terminate my TM Business line if business broadband service cannot be offered?

Yes, but you will have to make full settlement for outstanding bills on call usage

Can I terminate the business broadband and keep the Voice Plan and Value Added Services?

No. If you terminate the business broadband, other services in OIAB 365 will also be terminated including Voice Plan, Value Added Services (TM WiFi ID) and any add-ons.

What is the warranty period for the wireless ADSL modem?

The modem comes with lifetime warranty from the date of installation. The warranty expires when you terminate OIAB 365.

What is the warranty period for cordless phone?

Cordless phone comes with one year warranty from the date of installation.

What should I do if the cordless phone is faulty within the warranty period?

You can replace cordless phone at the particular cordless phone service center if it is within One Year Warranty.

If I’m currently using Centrex would I eligible to subscribe OIAB 365?

Yes, you are eligible to subscribe to OIAB 365.

Can I subscribe to additional Voice Plan 78 plan and how do I collect my cordless phone?

Yes you can subscribe to additional Voice Plan 78 for your additional line. TM will courier your cordless phone to your premise.

Can I subscribe to Voice Plan 78 if I do not subscribe to OIAB 365?

Yes. Please visit the nearest TMpoint.

Can existing OIAB migrate to OIAB 365?

No because of domain issues. If customer wants to have Microsoft Office 365, please advise customer to subscribe separately at BizApp Store.

If customer insists to migrate to OIAB 365, what should front liners do?

The existing customer account will be terminated and front liners will reregister customer with OIAB 365. If it is still in contract period, the penalty will be waived.

What should I do if I want to add extra Office 365 seat?

Customer may purchase separately from BizApp Store Portal. User will receive an email from TM once OIAB 365 package has been activated. The email includes a customized link to enable first time registration to BizApp Store. Can I use Office 365 concurrently using the same User ID? If OIAB 365 customer wants to terminate OIAB 365 but maintain the Office 365 account, is that possible?

No. Only one User ID can be used at one time
