A fascinating story needs a worthy script. In this case, the subject matter demands it.

SYNOPSIS The enigmatic life of electrical genius and visionary Nikola Tesla unravels through a posthumous F.B.I. investigation into his particle beam research, including a new super weapon called a “death ray”. During the height of World War II, the F.B.I. races to secure the papers and experiments of an enigmatic recently deceased scientist, who shortly before his death claimed to perfect a new super-weapon... a particle beam that could destroy ten thousand planes from 250 miles away... an invention referred to as the “death ray”. Did the machine exist? Was it a threat to the war effort? Or was the radical inventor mad? It sounds like science fiction, but it is true. In the screenplay Fragments From Olympus, federal authorities race for an answer, as they probe the life of genius inventor Nikola Tesla. Based on recently declassified documents, and the amazingly triumphant and tragic life of Nikola Tesla, Fragments From Olympus is two suspenseful stories intertwined which shed light on one of the world’s most forgotten heroes. One of its goals is to bring the achievements of Nikola Tesla to public attention, to help restore the credit that history has mistakenly placed elsewhere.

ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE: 1 of 3 FILMMAKER'S AWARD-WINNING SCRIPT HAS A MISSION TO VINDICATE/ SAVE LANDMARK: NY independent filmmaker Joseph Sikorski just completed a teaser from his award- winning script "Fragments from Olympus--The Vision of Nikola Tesla" featuring veteran character actor LEO ROSSI (Analyze This, The Accused). The script, the recent winner of the International Long Island Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, and a Quarter Finalist in The American Screenwriting Competition (one of the largest in the US), was co- written with long-time collaborator Michael Calomino. The project has goals beyond just becoming Sikorski's next feature film... both Sikorski and Calomino hope it will help save an important landmark--the site of Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe laboratory. Located in Shoreham, NY, the building that remains was designed by renowned architect Stanford White. Despite the historical significance of Tesla and White, the property is in danger of being sold--and time may be running out. Sikorski and Calomino hope their award-winning script will help bring some attention to this cause. Sikorski fears attention may not be enough to gain support though... since most people are not familiar with who Nikola Tesla is. This was the reason the two penned "Fragments from Olympus--The Vision of Nikola Tesla": to vindicate the struggles of the forgotten inventor. "Unfortunately, when I ask people if they've ever heard of Tesla, most admit they haven't. Many others think he is a 90's rock band. Sadly, only a few have heard of the man who sacrificed so much to improve their lives," says Sikorski. Aside from the dozens of inventions Tesla created or attempted, there is one that really stands out. Near the end of his life, Tesla claimed to have invented a "death ray" which he had hoped would make war obsolete. This sparked the two authors' interest in Tesla. (continued)

2 of 3 In fact, "Fragments From Olympus" is the result of nearly ten years of research which included Sikorski's and Calomino's pouring over hundreds of recently declassified FBI documents pertaining to Tesla's death ray research. The screenplay tells the story of the forgotten genius inventor through a posthumous FBI investigation into his research. Taking place during the height of WWII, the script begins with Special Agents Vitello and Foxworth racing to acquire the papers and experiments of the recently deceased scientist who, shortly before his death, claimed to have perfected a new super-weapon that could turn the tide of the war ... a weapon referred to as a "death ray". Vitello andFoxworth must discover if the machine really exists, or if the radical inventor is mad. It sounds like science fiction, but IT'S TRUE. Their quest for answers reveals the life achievements and hardships of the amazing, yet tragic, story of Nikola Tesla. Nikola Tesla, the father of alternate current and radio, was perhaps the greatest inventor who ever lived. Tesla was the pioneer of modern electricity, microwave ovens, Xrays, robotics, radar, remote control and missile science to just scrape the surface of his contributions. Yet he died in poverty, and few today know his name. His life's struggle included battles with Edison and Marconi to name a few. Though his contributions are numerous, the credit often mistakenly went to others. In "Fragments from Olympus--The Vision of Nikola Tesla", Sikorski and Calomino strive to vindicate the man who sacrificed so much for human progress, yet died alone and penniless. With their latest project, "Fragments from Olympus", Sikorski and Calomino endeavor to make a difference. The two hope their portrayal of Tesla could lead to a renewed interest in his research, including areas such as alternative energy sources. Much of Tesla's work was left unfinished in his lifetime due to constant struggles with financiers, conventional thinkers, and scientific protocol. In his quest to bring his project to the screen and correct the historical injustices against Tesla, Sikorski sees some parallels to the constantly embattled inventor. A few scuffles with interested production companies left Sikorski more resolute about directing the film himself. "They wanted to focus more on Tesla's eccentricities than his accomplishments. Tesla was victimized by corporate greed and history, so there's no way I was going to be the catalyst of his further exploitation," Sikorski said. (continued)

UPDATE: The project has received a Letter of Commitment for financing.

3 of 3 "What we're afraid of is that left to their own devices, they will create a caricature of a mad scientist instead of the tribute to Tesla we intended," Calomino added. This is why Sikorski decided his own Colossal Molehill Productions will be responsible for the actual production and post on the film. Besides creative control, it offers another huge advantage.... cost. According to the filmmaker, Sikorski's Molehill can produce the film much cheaper. The independent director/producer insists he can create a Hollywood epic for an indie price using modern compositing techniques he's experimented with over the years. He has a good track record for making films on the cheap. In the past, his three feature films totaled less than the catering cost of a typical Hollywood film. Sikorski also has an innovative plan to save Tesla’s Wardenclyffe lab... by including the preservation cost in the actual FILM BUDGET. By including this option as part of the film's marketing budget, Sikorski hopes to convince financiers that the extra funds will be a good investment, one that will provide priceless marketing and public relations to promote the film, as well as a free shooting location. Because the budget is already extremely low compared to Hollywood standards, Sikorski feels this is a viable option for investors. “It is a tax deductible promotional tool, that will help investors earn a better return on their investment, while doing something truly historic and beneficial to the community and world,” says Sikorski. “Why do billboards and bus ads for a couple of months to promote a "product", when you can create a permanent monument to a real-life hero? It should be clear to investors that this method would benefit them well beyond a short advertising cycle,” co-author Michael Calomino added. If investors choose this budget option, Wardenclyffe can be spared before a single frame of film even rolls. The site, currently for sale by the AGFA corporation, is where Tesla hoped to transmit free wireless electricity to the most remote parts of the earth. In addition to its historic value, the property, Sikorski believes, could be a great revenue-generating asset to the community by transforming into a "Tesla Museum of Science", where there is already a grassroots movement underfoot.
