I joined the Air Force in 1965. After basic training in Texas, I spent my service years at Hickam in Hawaii and Anderson in Guam servicing planes. After my discharge, I married my wife Anne in April 1969. Our son Chris was born in 1973. He is married and he and his wife Teresa, have given us our delightful 16-year-old granddaughter. After working at a transmission parts shop and owning a rental store, I joined Marion County as a Deputy. Anne and I also owned Modern Beauty College. I retired in 2004 and am enjoying my retirement years with Anne and my family. We enjoy old classic cars having owned a 62 Impala and currently own a 65 El Camino. I keep busy by driving cars for our son’s business (WireWorks) here in Salem, by visiting the Coast, casinos, and reading good western books!!
