AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR CHURCH Event hosting proposal 2012/2013

INTRODUCTION Girls’ Night Out is an exciting event from international aid agency World Vision. Girls’ Night Out invites women of all ages to be inspired, entertained and treated while learning more about women in the developing world who World Vision are working with to break the cycle of poverty affecting themselves, their children and their communities. Since its launch in April 2011, more than 20 Girls’ Night Out events have taken place in churches of all denominations throughout the UK, including London, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Northampton, Reading and more. The event is a partnership between World Vision and UK churches: World Vision manages the event and as well as providing the venue, the host church promotes the event to their congregation and community. Hosting a Girls’ Night Out event is a brilliant opportunity to put on a fun and inspiring night out for women in your church congregation, their friends and family and your local community.
