Dear, DMWBD Supporter, The Department of Minority & Women Business Development (DMWBD) takes pride in celebrating its success and the success of its certified businesses through a variety of community outreach events throughout the year. During the last few years, we have helped minority- , women- , and veteran-owned businesses compete for and win approximately $500 million in contracts from the City of Indianapolis and Marion County. Through training, education, and continued outreach, the DMWBD works with local entrepreneurs to promote economic development within the community, and to give all businesses a chance to compete for City-funded projects. The DMWBD depends on the support of its community partners and sponsors like you to continue its efforts on behalf of MBE/WBE/VBE businesses in our city. Throughout the year, the DMWBD hosts a number of educational tracks to give business owners the knowledge to get certified with the City of Indianapolis, and the tools to successfully bid on projects that drive our economy. The Department also hosts business opportunity fairs that unite potential contractors with project decision-makers. With even more outreach events on the horizon, we are asking for new and continuing sponsorships for 2013/2014. With the help of your support, the Department can continue to grow and expand the opportunities available to minority- , women- , and veteran-owned businesses in our community. Please, consider sponsoring DMWBD outreach events at one of these levels: Gold Sponsor: $1,000 Silver Sponsor: $500 Bronze Sponsor: $250 All Gold, Silver, or Bronze sponsors will receive recognition for their support at all DMWBD outreach events beginning in April 2013 through April 2014.
