RESEARCH STATEMENT My main research interest is the analysis of the currently deployed interdomain routing protocol, the Border Gateway Protocol. With a focus on the interactions between Internet entities, we try to enhance our understanding on how networks modify their routing behaviour in order to meet stringent traffic engineering needs. We aim for a quantitative study of the impact that can be observed on the rest of the Internet due to the deployment of traffic engineering mechanisms, like prefix deaggreagation. To this end, we make use of a large variety of tools, like, for example, game theory, statistic analysis, optimization models or BGP routing data analysis. EDUCATION 2010-present
