Holidays Assignment Class I Dear Parent Summer vacations are round the corner. Spell fun, frolic and ice creams for your little ones while fun is intrinsic to their age, constructive activities are also of utmost importance. It pauses the way for wonderful learning experience and growth of children. Have fun with your child doing these beautiful activities that have been planned for them. Please take a note of these instructions given below:1. Holiday home work should be done under the parental guidance and not by the parents i.e. the child must do it on his /her own. 2. All the work should be submitted in a presentable manner on the very first day i.e 1st July’13. 3. Kindly revise all the concepts done in the month of April and May.

Puppet Making

Read any of the story during vacations. Now with your parents help choose any one character and make a puppet of that character. You can make the puppets like hand puppet, finger puppet, stick puppet, paper mache, cloth puppet or face mark of any puppet. Project 5

Self made story

Children will make their own short story with the help of their parents, they will write the story in a scrape book along with some pictures. They can write the story in any language English/Hindi. Give an interesting title to it. Project 6

Jigsaw Puzzle

Material Required :- Mount board , colours Draw a sketch of your favourite character (eg. Chacha Choudhary , Tom and Jerry , Saabu , any animal) colour it and cut it in a jigsaw puzzle. Put numbers at the back of the pieces to make it easier for the child to assemble it again.
