HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM Prep Time: 15 minutes Serves 4 (½ cup servings). 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1 cup Hy-Vee half-and-half 1 ⁄3 cup Hy-Vee granulated sugar 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract Dash of Hy-Vee salt
Thoroughly whisk together all ingredients in a bowl with a pouring spout. Process ice cream according to manufacturer instructions. Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container; freeze.
