Rules and Regulations This website aims to publicize the Hong Kong Ani-Com Summer 2013’s Mascot Design Competition (“Mascot Design Competition”). This website allows public to vote for the Mascot Design Competition. Any comments or views expressed by any member of the public in this website do not represent CreateHK, nor are we responsible for the contents.
This website is derived in whole or in part from materials supplied by the CreateHK, and is protected by copyright law, trademark law and other relevant laws in relation to intellectual property. All rights including copyright of the website are owned or controlled by CreateHK. The organisers and respective contractors assume no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure of the provision of any services of the website. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of this Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail. The Mascot Design Competition shortlists 16 entries, four for each category, for public voting. The shortlisted entries are selected by professional jury formed by representatives of industry organizations of animation and comics
sector, education sector and the Government. The Champion, first runner-up, second runner-up and the merit award of each category will be determined by the results of the public voting. The organizers reserve the right to replace and/or remove any shortlisted entries for public voting without prior notice. Each voter may cast no more than one vote for each category. Repeated voting will invalidate all votes casted by the voter in question. One may cast his/her votes in all or any category. Voters are required to provide a valid email address for voting. Collection of email address is for verification only. All records will be destroyed within one month after the competition is completed. The voting record shall base on the record in the system of the organisers. Voting Period of Mascot Design Competition: 6 Jul 2013 (HK Time: 00:01am) to 26 Jul 2013 (HK Time: 11:59pm). The winner list of Mascot Design Competition will be announced at the Prize Presentation Ceremony scheduled for 31 Aug 2013, and on this website. Winners will be notified by the organisers by mail or email to attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony to collect their prizes. The organizers reserve the ultimate decision on the result of the Mascot Design Competition. By participating in the public voting of the Mascot Design Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any violation of these Terms and Conditions by any voter will result in invalidation of all votes of the voter in question. The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Hong Kong courts shall have exclusive
