I DECLARE 31 Promises to Speak over Your Life Joel Osteen Your future depends on what you speak life to. Week 2 Praise reports/revelations/new understandings – Review of last week’s declaration Opening Questions/Discussion What does it mean to worry? What causes us to worry? What causes us to sometimes have doubts about what God is doing in our lives? Define faithfulness. I DECLARE I will experience God’s faithfulness. I will not worry. I will not doubt. I will keep my trust in Him, knowing that He will not fail me. I will give birth to every promise God put in my heart, and I will become everything God created me to be. This is my declaration. In order to sincerely make this declaration, there are five things that we must understand and believe to be true. 1) God has faithfulness, and He has made it available to me. I make a choice to experience it. Psalm 100:5 (NLT) For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) – But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. Psalm 117:2(NLT) For He loves us with unfailing love; the LORD’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the LORD!

2) I must make a conscious and active choice not to doubt or worry Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Daniel 10:4-13 – READ – The moment God heard Daniel’s prayer, He sent an answer. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT) And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. 3) We must consciously and actively KEEP our trust in God KNOWING that He will not fail me. Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIV) 5Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” 6So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Lamentations 3:22-24 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh every morning. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” 4) We must believe that God keeps His promises, and His promises belong to us. 2 Corinthians 1:20(NLT) For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" And through Christ, our "Amen" (which means "Yes") ascends to God for his glory. Galatians 3:29, Deuteronomy 29:1-14 – Blessings of Abraham belong to us Psalm 149:4 (NLT) - For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. 5) We must believe that God created us for His specific purposes. Ephesians 2:10(ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. With this more intensive understanding of this declaration, we can speak it with confidence and expectation. This week: Add “by” statements to your declaration. (ex. I will experience God’s faithfulness by…, I will not worry by/because…) Combat doubts with God’s promises!
